2019 China Tibet Development Forum successfully concludes

On the afternoon of June 15, the 2019 China Tibet Development Forum successfully completed its various agendas in Lhasa. During the forum, government officials, experts, scholars, and media reporters from 37 countries gathered in Lhasa to exchange ideas, and make suggestions for Tibet's development and progress.

The China Tibet Development Forum has been held six times. It has become an important platform for promoting exchanges and cooperation between China's Tibet and the rest of the world. It provides an important channel for exchanging feelings between Chinese and foreign friends who care about Tibet's development and progress. Chinese and foreign experts and scholars also contributed a great amount of wisdom to the modernization and development of Tibet.

At the forum, Chinese and foreign guests expressed their opinions and made suggestions on how to further promote the modernization of Tibet in joint construction of the Belt and Road initiative, covering infrastructure construction, traditional cultural preservation, ecological civilization, tourism development, and foreign exchange.

Guests at the forum praised the current achievements in modernization and the improvement of people's livelihoods in Tibet. They agreed that Tibet has made tremendous progress in both economic and cultural areas in a relatively short period of time. It is a very remarkable developmental achievement. In today's Tibet, the economy is thriving, the society is harmonious and stable, the ecology continues to be well, there is freedom of religious belief, and people live and work in peace and contentment. It is Tibet's best period in history.
