Tibet Natural Science Museum launches Children’s Day activities
The Tibet Natural Science Museum has launched its 2022 Children’s Day activities, attracting more than 400 children from Yamda Township Kindergarten, Chushur County Kindergarten, Darze Central Primary School, and Lhasa No. 7 Middle School to visit on May 27.
During the activity, the children had an in-depth understanding of the living creatures, vegetation, mountains and rivers of Tibet, watched up close the fossils of ancient large creatures such as Chamdo dinosaurs and Himalayan ichthyosaur that once lived in Tibet, and enjoyed snow leopards, Tibetan antelopes, spinulose tree fern, etc. The children also had a lot of fun in the science interactive exhibition area. They not only experienced scientific mysteries such as moving pulleys and the formation of animations, but also immersed themselves in experiencing high-simulation robots, VR virtual reality, and 4D movies.
