Large-scale epic drama “Princess Wencheng” opens on May 26
On May 25, the large-scale epic drama "Princess Wencheng" opened its audition, and on May 26, the 10th season of the show officially started. Since its premiere in 2013, it has been performed more than 1,500 times, attracting more than 3 million tourists.
It is understood that this season's show has re-produced the soundtrack of chapters such as Cho Dance, bringing a refreshing and shocking audio-visual enjoyment. At the same time, as the main creative team of the play have gone deep into many regions in Tibet, they got new artistic inspiration from mountains, rivers, and folk customs, thus bring the show new and innovative stage expression
Tsechokling Village, where the play "Princess Wencheng" is performed and the Tsechokling Tibetan Courtyard Style Street is located, was once a poor village on the south bank of the Lhasa River. Today, with the popularity of the epic drama "Princess Wencheng", it has paid nearly 400 million yuan (RMB) to local people in the past 10 years. The drama has directly or indirectly created more than 4,500 jobs, effectively promoting the employment of local people and increasing their incomes.
