As a non-material heritage at the regional level in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, Drigung Tibetan medicine was founded in the early 17th century. In recent years, the representative inheritor of the craft, Chogyal Sangpo, strived for support and help to the heritage and speed up the training of inheritors, giving the once near-extinct field new vitalities.
