“Doctors from Beijing can see you wherever you have problems.” This is a saying often spoken to Tibetans by volunteer Tibetan translators. Every year, Beijing sends a medical team to assist Tibet in carrying out free diagnosis and treatment activities in various places in Tibet.

As of the end of 2019, all 74 impoverished counties and county level areas in Tibet had historically eliminated absolute poverty. However, the solution to food and clothing is not the end, and it is also necessary for Tibetans to lead healthy lives. Doctors from all provinces and cities brought Tibet medical equipment and medicines to analyze the conditions and give treatment suggestions for those who come to the consultations. At the same time, they will also take time to popularize health care knowledge for the masses and train local community doctors. The doctors are doing their best for the health of the Tibetan people with practical actions, and no one is left behind on the road to health.
