The family of Yangdzom Tsomo, a Tibetan girl, has lived in Niru Village, Shangri-La, Dechen Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province for generations. Like other families here, they have a farming-pastoral life.

Niru Village is in the scenic area of Pudacuo National Park. Every summer, it will become a paradise for people who love hiking and camping. Recently, Yangdzom Tsomo and her husband Chuipi had a wedding. Their relatives and friends from different places gathered here to send blessings to the new couple.

Yangdzom Tsom wants to rebuild her old home into an inn, guide tourists to watch the beautiful scenery of Niru all year round, become a “new herdswoman”, and continue to protect the pasture of her mother and grandma in the future.
