The Sixth China Xizang Trans-Himalaya International Cycling Race Commenced

On the morning of August 6, the Sixth China Xizang Trans-Himalaya International Cycling Race commenced at Potala Palace Square in Lhasa, Xizang.

The total distance of this race is about 420.58 kilometers. Following its elevation to the UCI Men’s Elite 2.1 Pro Series, this event was held for the first time, attracting a total of 17 cycling teams, comprising 8 international teams and 9 domestic teams, as well as over 100 athletes from China, Spain, and other countries. From August 6 to August 10, each team will engage in intense competition across various stages in Nyingchi City, Shannan City, Lhasa City, and Xigaze City, collectively pushing their limits and striving for excellence.
