When the sound of the Yarlung Zangbo River’s waves echoed along the ridge, Dexing Village in Dexing Township, located just a few kilometers from Medog County in Nyingchi City of the Xizang Autonomous Region, awoke amidst clouds and mist. Nestled near a serpentine bend of the Yarlung Zangbo River Grand Canyon, Dexing Village is surrounded by slopes with tea trees.

Dexing Village is a settlement predominantly inhabited by ethnic Monba people. Each household’s residence is enveloped by fruit trees, including loquats, honey pomelos, and bananas. The lemon-yellow buds of honey pomelo trees, the white blossoms of loquat trees, and the purple flowers of the banana trees glisten in the morning dew, creating an enchanting atmosphere that transports you to a dreamlike realm reminiscent of subtropical landscapes.
