The journalist has learned from the Sports Bureau of the Xizang Autonomous Region that Samdrup Nyima, an athlete from the region, won the championship title in men’s duathlon at the 3rd National Rock Climbing Championship in 2025, also the 15th National Games Climbing Qualifier.

It has been reported that the competition was held from April 5 to 7 in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province. 145 athletes from 22 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across China participated in the competition, with 11 athletes from Xizang. After fierce competition, athletes from Xizang won 6 qualifications for participating in rock climbing events. Notably, Samdrup Nyima emerged as the champion in the men’s duathlon category.
