The term “tsha-tsha” is a transliteration of the Sanskrit word in Tibetan, meaning “copy”. It refers to a small Buddha statue created by pressing soft clay and other materials into a Tsha mold, representing a unique form of demoulding clay sculpture art in Xizang.
