The term “tsha-tsha” is a transliteration of the Sanskrit word in Tibetan, meaning “copy”. It refers to a small Buddha statue created by pressing soft clay and other materials into a Tsha mold, representing a unique form of demoulding clay sculpture art in Xizang.

A tourist is displaying the completed tsha-tsha at the Xizang Tsha-tsha Culture Exhibition Hall in the northern suburb of Lhasa, Xizang.
