Near the Barkhor Shopping Mall and Chomsigkang Market, there are always crowds during the festive season. Walking into the mall, dazzling shopping goods such as sugars and nuts are on full display in shops.  

Temporary stalls outside the market also have vendors selling local specialties such as milk residue and yak jerky. 

Of course, the necessities for the New Year, for example, the Spring Festival couplets, Fu characters, red envelopes, lanterns, and decorations are on top lists.
