In the past ten years, the comprehensive strength of Lhoka City in Tibet Autonomous Region has been greatly improved and its economy has flourished.

Infrastructure has improved dramatically. A comprehensive transport system has taken shape. A number of major projects, including the reconstruction and expansion of Gonggar Airport Terminal 3 and the Lhasa-Nyingchi Railway, have been completed and put into operation.

The quality of people’s lives has improved markedly; the social security system has been improved; cultural programs have been accelerated; and the comprehensive coverage rate of radio and television has reached 99%.

The industrial system has been gradually improved, and agriculture and animal husbandry have improved steadily. The construction of Zangyuan Tourism and Culture Base has achieved remarkable results, with a total of 34.77 million tourists and a tourism income of 13.448 billion yuan in the past ten years.
