Recently, Xizang’s First Ethnic Stage Costume Design Competition, a core event in the 2025 “Taste of Xizang” Cultural Tourism Experience Season, was held in Lhasa.

Centered on the theme “Reviving Tibetan Charm and Illuminating the Snowland through Fashion,” the competition encouraged designers to blend traditional cultural elements with modern aesthetics and stage artistry, infusing ethnic costumes with contemporary vitality.

A total of 56 designers from across China participated in this event, culminating in 12 finalists who advanced to compete for the Gold Award.
