Recently, the Lhasa Tuanjie Park, located southwest of the Potala Palace at the foot of Yaowang Mountain in Lhasa, Xizang, officially opened its doors to residents and visitors. This new landmark serves as a destination for leisure and recreation. The park not only enhances the city’s environment but also offers an ideal space for relaxation.

The project has successfully restored historical waterways and implemented sponge city infrastructure to systematically address water system challenges surrounding the Potala Palace. This initiative ensures the safe operation of historic gardens, including the Longwangtan Park and Norbulingka. Additionally, a new nighttime lighting scheme further enhances the visual experience. With lights from the Yaowang Mountain and from the Potala Palace interplaying one another, a layered and multidimensional landscape is created.
