Recently, the 2025 Qiaqing Horse Racing Festival commenced at the Gesar Racecourse in Nagqu, Xizang. This year’s event showcased 13 official competitions alongside 2 traditional equestrian performances, seamlessly integrating elements of competitiveness, entertainment, and culture.

As the most celebrated traditional folk event in Nagqu, this festival has been inscribed on the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. It serves as a significant showcase for the nomadic culture of northern Xizang.
