In recent days, black-necked cranes, China’s first-class protected animal, have been observed in Dulan County, Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province during their annual northward migration. As the ecological environment continuously improves, these rare birds regularly fly to Dulan in late April and remain until mid-June every year.
