On May 19, coinciding with the “China Tourism Day,” the inaugural “Shanghai-Xigaze” supportive inbound tourist charter flight to Xizang successfully commenced. A total of 67 foreign tourists boarded the maiden flight. Among them was a group of special youth football players hailing from Salta, Argentina, a region sharing a similar high-altitude environment with Xizang, where their daily lives and training occur at elevations exceeding 3,000 meters.

During their stay, these visitors will explore cultural and natural attractions in Xigaze and participate in cultural exchange activities. It is noteworthy that they took part in an international friendly football match with the local youth team in Xigaze on May 20th.
