Recently, as temperatures rise, the lakes and rivers at the source of the Yellow River are beginning to thaw in Madoi County, Golog Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. Wild migratory birds, including bar-headed geese, have commenced their northward migration and are now congregating at the headwaters of Sanjiangyuan National Park. This influx of wildlife brings a vibrant energy to the land surrounding the river’s source as it gradually awakens from its winter slumber.
