Drolkar, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), believes with great abilities come with great responsibilities.

As a private entrepreneur with assets exceeding 100 million yuan, Drolkar established her company in alignment with the national call for infrastructure development in Xizang. “Our country has made significant investments in infrastructure, and I am inspired.” After knowing the trend, she commenced her efforts without hesitation. Within the year, Xizang Zhongyuan Building Materials Group Co., Ltd., was set up in 2013 in Quxu County, Lhasa.

After the enterprise was put into production, Drolkar insisted on recruiting locals for the production line. This initiative facilitated employment opportunities for residents and allowed them to work close to their homes.

Since she initially launched her business, Drolkar has already invested in an intelligent production line for the enterprise. This initiative enabled complete wastewater recycling, achieving a win-win scenario that harmonized ecological protection with corporate profitability. In her local efforts towards poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, Drolkar contributed over 3.3 million yuan in monetary donations and supplies to assist individuals facing difficulties in overcoming poverty. At the beginning of last year, through proactive engagement by Drolkar, three administrative villages in Quxu County pooled their collective funds to invest in project construction. That year, these three villages received a collective economic dividend exceeding 100,000 yuan separately.

Today, Drolkar serves as a member of the National Committee of CPPCC. After being elected, she has actively engaged in visiting enterprises, rural areas, and institutions of higher education for investigation and research purposes. She has submitted numerous proposals and suggestions regarding issues such as employment for college graduates and improvements to the business environment at the “two sessions”. Drolkar emphasizes that promoting shared prosperity should prioritize advancing comprehensive rural revitalization. “During my performance survey, I was profoundly impressed by the promising future for deep processing agricultural products and integrating culture with tourism in Xizang. This aligns with market demands and serves as an effective vehicle for achieving common prosperity,” she stated. Drolkar expressed her commitment to providing recommendations tailored to Xizang’s specific conditions during this year’s “two sessions” while striving to deliver high-quality contributions.
