In the past 60 years, over 3000 films and 50 television series were successfully translated and dubbed into Tibetan language.

In November of 1965, the Tibet Autonomous Region’s Film Group created a special division for film translation and dubbing, which successfully completed the first-dubbed film in the history of Tibetan cinema. Currently, the Tibet Autonomous Region’s Film and Community Service Center has completed its 93rd dubbed film, advocating widespread knowledge of agricultural practices as well as entertaining the daily lives of rural communities.
