The Razheng River Valley is located in Linzhou County, Lhasa City, Tibet Autonomous Region, stretching for more than 30 kilometers. Different from other areas with an altitude of over 4,300 meters, the Razheng Valley presents unique scenery of abundant water and plants and ancient cypresses stretching to the horizon. The Razheng Quzhuo, which has been sung for thousands of years, has been reborn after experiencing inheritance, integration, and decline.

Razheng Quzhuo, dating back in the 10th century AD, has a unique artistic style and charm. Both of its music singing and performance form maintain the original style. Often accompanied by flute, loud and grand songs, the Quzhuo dance is colorful and rich in style. At the same time, Razheng Quzhuo integrated the essence of Tibetan culture and art, and used many aphorisms, proverbs, religious stories, folk culture, and many fables in lyrics.

However, this cultural treasure was once almost lost due to various reasons. In the early 1980s, the salvage recovery of Razheng Quzhuo was carried out, which made it possible to pass down in difficulty. Now, most of the contents of Razheng Quzhuo have been inherited, which can basically satisfy the needs of various performances. Here, we have to mention one person-Zongba. Razheng Quzhuo's current inheritance is inseparable from her generosity.

"When I was very young, I saw adults dancing Zhuo dance on the grass. The dance was so beautiful that I will never forget it for the rest of my life. I don't want my descendants to see it only in books, so I want to pass it on." Zongba is a native of Linzhou, and has unique memories and feelings for Razheng zhuo dance. "I have been doing business in Lhasa and made some money. In 2015, I founded Linzhou Razheng Quzhuo Culture and Art Communication Company and invested a lot of money in it. I have two main purposes: the first is that I wish my fellow villagers earn more money relying on intangible cultural heritage inheritance. The second is to make Razheng Quzhuo pass down better, so that future generations can learn about our cultural treasures from performances rather than through books. "

With Zongba's unremitting efforts and the continuous support from the local government, Razheng Quzhuo has become a national intangible cultural heritage in 2021.

It is understood that Linzhou County has formulated a five-year protection plan for Razheng Quzhuo, including interviewing elder artists, collecting, sorting and studying materials about the Razheng Quzhuo dance; setting up a dance team and apply for cultural and intellectual property rights; cultivating successors and establishing the Razheng Quzhuo Mass Art Museum and holding cultural and art festivals, etc.

Zongba also has her own ideas for the inheritance and protection of Razheng Quzhuo: "At present, our fixed performance venue is under construction, which covers teahouses, hotels, etc. At the same time, I also want to develop some cultural and creative products of Razheng Quzhuo, such as Tibetan incense and Tibetan costumes. This can not only make money for inheriting and protecting Razheng Quzhuo, but also allow Razheng Quzhuo to go further so that more people can know about the cultural treasure."
