January 17th marked the “Gutu” Night of the Agricultural New Year in Xigaze, Xizang, akin to the traditional Chinese New Year’s Eve. In Zagor Village, people once affected by the earthquake don their festive attire and prepare Gutu, Kasai, to welcome a new year filled with hope in their newly reconstructed homes.
