The 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) opened in Beijing on September 9.

Handicraft enterprises and inheritors of intangible cultural heritage from Lhasa brought unique products, including thangka paintings, metal forging, Tibetan carpet weaving, pile embroidery, Tibetan incense, Tibetan paper and Tibetan-style jewelry, to CIFTIS, as well as live demonstrations. Visitors were able to observe the entire process of handicraft production up close and experience the craftsmanship and dedication behind these traditional arts.
