Recently, the ethnic aerobics competition as part of the 14th Autonomous Region Games and the 6th Traditional Ethnic Sports Games was held in Xigaze City. A total of 96 athletes from six delegations—Lhasa, Xigaze, Lhoka, Nyingchi, Qamdo, and Nagqu—took part in the competition. Dressed in traditional ceremonial attire, the athletes moved with synchronized steps and high energy, blending traditional Tibetan dance with modern aerobics to showcase their uplifting spirit from the snowy plateau.
