A county-level cultural center will be established in Damxung of Lhasa, capital of Tibet Autonomous Region and till then all the seven counties in Lhasa will have their own cultural centers.

Logga, director of Lhasa Cultural Affairs Department said:"Damxung cultural center will be the last county-level cultural center in Lhasa. It will promote the development of culture in local area and enrich people's spiritual and cultural life. "

Moreover, Lhasa Cultural Affairs Department will invest 20,000 yuan to build 4 "rural book houses" in Gyaidar village of Damxung. Villagers can read books at home to learn more knowledge about science and culture.
