The key project of 10th "Five-year-plan", Lhasa River Zhi Kong hydroelectric power station was put into operation on September 23. With the investment of 1.37 billion yuan, this power station features 100,000 kwh installation capacity and 225 million cubic meters water content. It can generate 407 million kwh power annually, which will be an important part of Tibet's power supply.
