25 soldiers wounded, 7 missing in Turkey ammunition explosion
At least 25 soldiers were injured and seven more went missing after an explosion in military base in Turkey's southeastern Hakkari province on Friday, Turkish Defense Ministry said.

According to the initial information, the incident was an "accident" that occurred due to explosion of ammunition during shooting exercise in a military base, the ministry said in a written statement.
The injured soldiers have been taken to the hospital, and search activities continued for seven other missing, said the military.
An investigation has been launched on the incident.
The incident occurred in Ortaklar Sungu Tepe military base in Semdinli district of Hakkari province, which is located near the borders with Iran and Iraq, Hakkari provincial governor's office said in a statement.
