After 60 years of development and construction, Khesum Village, the first to launch Democratic Reform in Tibet, has changed from an old Tibet serf owner’s estate to a well-off socialist village today. New buildings were built here and convenient hardened roads were paved. In 2017, all impoverished people got out from poverty. In 2018, the per capita disposable income in Khesum village reached 19,735.5 yuan (2773.6 US dollars). People’s lives have undergone earth-shaking changes.
