Recently, the 2024 Qinghai Study Camp of Macao Students went to Tongren City, Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, honored as the “Golden Valley”, to have a study tour in which they could get close to the intangible cultural heritage. They visited the famous Regong Art Museum and Regong Art Academy.

As an intangible cultural heritage, Regong arts have many artistic forms and are famous for their brilliant techniques, bright colors, and profound cultural background.

At the Regong Art Academy, teachers and students saw painters painting Thangka. Each brushstroke showed their persistence and love for art. Their superb techniques and rigorous attitude moved all the teachers and students and provided them with a thorough understanding of the profoundness of the Regong arts.
