Jiuzhaigou scenic area reopens to individuals

On the evening of November 28, the Sichuan Province Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area Administration Office issued a notice that stated according to the situation of post-disaster restoration and reconstruction and trial operation, the scenic spot will be opened to individual tourists from now on. The maximum receiving number of single-day visitors to open areas will be 20,000.

It is understood that tickets for the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area are currently in off-season pricing. The entrance price is 80 yuan (about 11.37 US dollars) per person and bus tickets are 80 yuan per person. Entrance and bus tickets can be pre-purchased online using personal information, but tickets will not be able to be purchased on-site.

All visitors must log in to the Sichuan Aba Tourism website (www.abatour.com) and submit identification information such as ID card or passport to pre-book. Visitors entering the scenic area should purchase accident insurance.

The scenic area will be open between 8:30 and 17:00 daily.
