Tibetan companies actively join in China International Import Expo
Over the past few days, smart high-end equipment, consumer electronics and home appliances, clothes and daily necessities, medical equipment and health products, and food and agricultural products from more than 100 countries and regions have been on display at the China International Import Expo held in Shanghai. Buyers from all over the world have been carrying out business negotiations and networking.
Tibet, far away on the snowy plateau, has also been actively represented at this event. At the opening of the Expo, entrepreneurs from Tibet connected with other countries and companies to discuss matters of business cooperation.
It is reported that the Tibetan delegation participating in this Expo is firstly to hold investment promotions and signing ceremonies. They are using the Import Expo to expand economic and trade exchanges with Nepal and Pakistan in South Asia and secondly to encourage Tibetan companies to expand their imports. It is hoped that the import trade carried out at this Expo will continue to provide more product choices for the Tibetan people.
