Spring flowers are blooming and migratory birds are returning. As the weather gets warmer, dozens of herons are making their nests on a century-old poplar tree in Hedong Township, Guide County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province.

In recent years, with the continuous improvement of the surrounding environment ofthe Yellow River and increasing people’s awareness to protect birds, hundreds of herons has come to Hedong Township in Guide County to thrive every March.
