On the gorgeous Batang Street, one can see past a visually stunning Rainbow Bridge to a two-story building, featuring plain yet modern elements. This is the intangible cultural heritage experience center of Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China’s Qinghai province.

Yushu Prefecture has a long history with striking and colorful intangible cultural heritage items. The intangible cultural heritage experience center of Yushu Prefecture has been open to use in January of 2019.

The first eight intangible cultural heritage inheritors at the center will present very distinctive, regional heritage items, and showcase the items to locals and out-of-town visitors via on-site visits, processing and production to help people experience and understand Yushu's yesterday and its vision for tomorrow.
