Xi's special envoy to attend Maldivian presidential inauguration
BEIJING, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping's special envoy Luo Shugang will attend the inauguration of Maldivian President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih later this month, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying announced here on Tuesday.
Luo, minister of culture and tourism, will make the visit to the Maldives from Nov. 15 to 19 at the invitation of the Maldivian government, the spokesperson said.
