"I want to go to Tibet"

"I want to go to Tibet," a 6-year-old boy wrote down his feelings on a visitor-book after visiting an exhibition marking the 50th anniversary of democratic reform in Tibet.

Opened on Feb. 24, the exhibition has attracted thousands of visitors in the first four days, some of whom even took their friends and relatives come after their own comings. An exhibition manager said "more visitors are expected to come at the coming weekend." 

"Compared with some other exhibits on Tibet I visited before, I find this one shows a real Tibet in a comprehensive way," said an photographer surnamed Xu, holding a camera in his hands.

"It is like a epitome of Tibet's history, where you can find out how serfs were emancipated and became masters of their own lots."

"Some pictures and documents on  '3.14 riot' last year are shown to the public for the first time. Without too many words, these objects could speak for themselves."

"More shows on Tibet should be displayed so that the public can have a better knowledge on its past and present," Xu added.

Xu said all his family members, like him, also have a keen interest in the latest development of Tibet, and they would come to the exhibit on the coming  weekend.

A visitor surnamed Bian came to the exhibition with the aim of learning more about Tibet's history, especially on its peaceful liberation. Being fascinated by Tibetan Buddhism, Bian has paid visits to many Tibetan ethnic areas in provinces other than Tibetn region.
